so just hanging out for a few minutes while I wait for Somer to come get me... then its off to a night of fun at Graham's! :)

hmm what can I tell you that is new...??

Diversity Workshop - kind of a waste of time... :) all about culture shock and diverse experiences and ajdusting to your new environment in a 'remote' area... tee hee... I've been there - and I survived then... so I am sure I will survivie - at least I better after the trouble I have gone to in moving there!

CompTracker... a brilliant new initiative that my technology-savy university is piloting with a few lucky students - my being one of them! It is a program that we use on our PDA's that will help us to keep track of the competencies that we meet, as we are meeting them! This will require a little more work at the time to check things off - but then when it comes time for midterm and final evaluations - we can just print off what is already in the data base! Also allows our faculty advisors who are monitorin the academic learning of our placements to monitor a little more closely! :)

OH - Somer just buzzed... I am outta here... Tomorrow I will see my MOUNTAINS! :)
