you're the bestest!

What an awesome way to end my day! A few of us nurses went out to Mr. Mikes for some appies and a drink and what started out as a casual wind down evening after a crazy day at work turned into my sweet love making an appearance again!
The girls and I were leaving when we ran into some girls from church... I decided to stay with them for a bit and as the night went on... my hero saved the day again... God totally came in and was ministering to some people at the table (me included as I sat back and watched him take control) - it was incredible... it was my hearts desire unfolding - that is church, when people gather and share the love of Jesus - the real, unconditional, all consuming love and passion of Jesus... my sweet love
I pray that everything that those people are facing and fearing in their lives will be met continuously with the unwavering love and power of the cross... thanks Papa...

Work today was busy... I am glad to be done for a few days... sad that I have only two sets left...
Today I had opportunities to minister to the people beyond the daily tasks of a nurse. I was able to be there for family as their loved ones deteriorated before their eyes... I was able to be arms of love wrapped around them... for me that is what nursing is about - it is the reason that I am where I am and do some of the thankless things that I do... so that in someone's time of need... HE can be there...
